Katy B is back! ‘Danger’ is a free 4 track EP available to download now. ‘Aaliyah’ featuring Jessie Ware and produced by Geeneus is the definite highlight for me (although that Zinc beat on ‘Got Paid’ is outrageous in the best possible way).

found this gem over on Disco Naivete on Sunday. whilst there does seem to be quite a lot of slightly left of centre female artists around at the moment (Rainy Milo, Bago, Roses Gabor, Twigs, Solange etc) Lorine Chia has a very alluring tone to her voice. download her free album over at her website.

taken from the ‘True’ EP by Solange Knowles, this is her take on Blood Orange’s ‘Bad Girls’. it’s almost impossible to explain how much i am in L.O.V.E with this version. it ticks all of my boxes about fifty times over. now excuse me whilst i go and sit with the track on repeat for the rest of the week. you can pick up the EP here.
